Multiple Myeloma
Multiple myeloma, also known as myeloma, is a type of bone marrow cancer. Bone marrow is the spongy tissue at the centre of some bones that produces the body’s blood cells.
It’s called multiple myeloma as the cancer often affects several areas of the body, such as the spine, skull, pelvis and ribs.
Ruth came to Verita Life looking for a way to treat her cancer without getting all the side effects that she got from traditional treatment in Australia.
She’d had an horrific reaction to the prophylactic antibiotic she was prescribed which resulted in a whole body rash leaving her looking like a ‘a lump of meat’ as she describes it.
In the video, she talks about the Integrative Treatments she received at Verita Life Clinic in Bangkok as well as how well she has been treated during her time with us.
Ruth’s Progress
Ruth has returned home and awaits her bone scan results.
